Large Oval Blue Morpho Butterfly Wing Pendant Necklace.

This beautiful and unique Blue Morpho butterfly pendant is made using a real butterfly wing.

The front of the wing is a stunning iridescent blue which shimmers and changes in hue according to the angle from which it is viewed. The back of the wing resembles foliage, with beautiful mottled browns, greys and blacks and reds with very distinctive "eyes", nature's way of protecting them in the wild.

Preserved for all time in glass like relics in reliquaries using the Tiffany stained glass technique.
