Iridescent Blue Butterfly Wing Pendant Necklace, 25mm

This beautiful delicate and unique round blue butterfly pendant is made using a real Blue Morpho butterfly wing.

Preserved for all time like relics in reliquaries, this piece is a true one of a kind. A celebration of nature.

The front of the wing is an incredible iridescent blue while the back is a combination of mottled browns, greys and black with very distinctive “eyes”, nature’s way of protecting them in the wild. As both sides are completely different it can be worn either way round.

The beautiful iridescent blue wing is encased in 25mm glass cabochons using the Tiffany stained glass technique.
